PCUD has been in the natural gas business since 1959 and serves over 15,000 natural gas customers in Anderson and Campbell Counties along 700 miles of main. Natural gas is affordable, comfortable and reliable. Most natural gas appliances work even in a power outage. In addition, households that use natural gas for heating, cooking and clothes drying save an average of $874 per year compared to homes using electricity for those applications.
